I really don't know what to say about this restaurant. I give them the props for turning an old warehouse (previously XS Cargo) into a restaurant. Overall, the food was good, but...occasionally you will see "extra ingredients" falling off the ceiling...paint chips (chipped paint)...gross...to us, it's a one-timer only.
This restaurant is right beside Yohan Centre. Because it was a warehouse before, it's quite spacious inside.
Though they are by Yohan Centre, Canadian Tire, and ABC Family Restaurant, the restaurant has very limited designated parking. There are people from both Yohan Centre and Canadian Tire watching to see if you are parked in their parking lot. YOU WILL BE TOWED if you do not park in the designated area...we saw couple tow trucks. LOL!
The waiting area is great for weddings as guests check in at the table (previous picture) and then have their photos taken on the couch with the newly-wed couple! Beautiful setup!
One of my favorites - Cold-Marinated Chicken Feet.
Shredded Chicken & Jellyfish Salad
Smoked Pork Hock
Buddha Boy's must-haves - Shrimp Spring Rolls.
Fish-stuffed Chinese Donut Rice Rolls - the roll skin was a bit too thick.
Har-Gow - skin was too thick.
Dumpling in Soup - ok tasting...not as good as Top Gun J&C.
Deep-Fried Pork Intestine - very crispy and not much fat.
Sweet Tea Olive Jello
Egg Custard Buns
Ok...now...after all the food pictures, I will show you what the ceiling looked like when we were there.
The paint was, literally, chipping and falling on your clothes, hair, AND food!!!
The chipping pieces on our table...removed from our dishes...YUCK!
