Donair Spot's first location was on South Granville. When I worked in the area, I would visit regularly. This second location has been here for at least a year, the owner recognized me from the South Granville days, I guess Buddha Girl was right, it's hard to forget someone that can eat as much as me.
I had a crepe next door at Bon Crepe and followed with a Lamb Shawarma Wrap. It's pretty basic, nothing special. It's not as good as Donair King or even Abdul's, but it was acceptable.
Hehehe...so, in one hour, I ended up going to Bon Crepe, Donair Spot and Goldstone...yup, I was hungry.
I need to discover more donair places! I am still a newbie in this area lmao!

ReplyDeleteI am a newbie at donair stuff too!!! Usually Buddha Boy takes me around for places like this. He loves shawarma so much that he wanted to buy a machine for home...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oooooh...thanks for the suggestion!!! I will visit Buddha Boy one of these days and go grab some from Babylon!!! I think that's the place my ex-coworkers used to go and raved about it!!!
Babylon is extremely inconsistent. Depending on who is preparing your donair/shawarma, it could be really packed or almost anemic. But, for god's sake, please, do NOT visit Aladdin, which is next to Babylon in Robson and Granville. It was, in one word, bad. >_<
