Yup, I slept in today...didn't wake up until noon...but not sure why I wasn't hungry. So I told MomJ to go off on her own as I took my time strolling toward Coca-Cola World and M&M's World. As I cut through Aria and was half way through Monte Carlo, I got hungry, so I stopped by for a quick grab at the food court inside Monte Carlo.
This food court was way better than Caesars' Marketplace. From McDonald's to Subway, Manchu Wok to Sbarro, it's got a good selection of fast-food outlets. I went for, again, a pizza & drink combo...this time it's only $7...much cheaper than Caesars. Well, you see, I don't want to take the chance of "accidental" beef-intake, so I went with the veggie Spinach & Mushroom Pizza. Nothing spectacular about the pizza...just something enough to tie me over...hahahahaha!
Honestly, Coca-Cola World was boring, I was in and out in about ten minutes. But I did spent an hour or so inside the four-story M&M's World! I loved it! The had a promotion, if you buy $45 (before tax), then you get a free dispenser (retail valued at $14.95).
Hehehe...here's the one I chose...that's after a purchase of two aprons (his & hers) and a little round placemat for Buddha Dog...hahahahaha!
I then walked around in ABC...and guess what? Hello Kitty has invaded Vegas too! LOL! Just thought I would share this...personally, I'm not a Hello Kitty fan.
hahah omg!! I love the yellow m&m!! I always end up buying tons of yellowm&m related stuff.. i even decided to buy one of the huge plushies in vegas 1 year(not thinking how i was going to bring it back on the plane) lol..and thankfully there was an empty seat beside us, so i ended up giving it its own seat lol! :)

ReplyDeleteI love Hello Kitty when I was younger but now I am getting too old for that kind of thing but they still look cute as ever,.. they have Hello Kitty world in Taiwan don't they?

ReplyDeleteI know!!! Yellow M&M (Nut M&M) is the classic!!! Hehehehe! My favorite! I was actually debating between this one and the green one (the only "girl") but thought the classic is the way to go!!! Hehehehehe! I so want the big stuffed toy...but I had the same question in mind...how the heck I am gonna bring that home...hahahaha!

I actually walked by the store once and it was packed with people. Though I was never a big fan, but I have nothing against it...some of the stuff is actually quite cute! Too bad the Hello Kitty store is not really open to the general public...it's in the airport post-security terminal (http://www.sanrio.com.tw/taiwannews_en/info-dfs.htm). There's even a Hello Kitty Maternity Hospital in Taiwan (http://www.weirdasianews.com/2009/09/12/taiwans-kitty-maternity-hospital/)...hahaha...interesting!!!
