While the border line-up was an hour to an hour and a half wait, we crossed the border in less than two minutes! Yes...I am showing off! Hahahahaha! But honestly, NEXUS has made our traveling so much easier, either by air or land...gotta love NEXUS!!!
Not knowing what to eat, we almost ended up at Eagles Buffet at Tulalip Casino...yuck. While at Costco in Marysville, Buddha Boy recall that there's a Chinese buffet around the corner...hey why not? Anything would be better than the buffet at Tulalip...even fast-food.
As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we noticed the Mongolian grill. The grill selections were better than Eagles Buffet...and it's much cheaper too! Overall, we enjoyed it. Both Buddha Boy and I thought this experience was, and would be, much better than Eagles Buffet.
For $10.99US per person, we couldn't really complain about the selections or the quality. Mind you, the selections here were not bad for the price. Good sushi selections, good fruits/dessert choices (sliced and cut nicely)...they even have crab legs, raw oysters, and cocktail shrimps. But honestly, I wouldn't trust the raw oysters there...hahahaha! As for the Chinese dishes, I was quite pleased to see only one type of noodles and one type of fried rice...at least they're not trying to fill us with carbs, carbs, carbs...oh did I mention carbs?
The restaurant was clean and tidy, food was refilled quickly, service was prompt, attentive, and courteous...all very rare for a Chinese-owned restaurant, not to mention it's a buffet...LOL!!!
