To make the long story short, AuntA gave a couple packs of this tea to UncleE's staff because she's diabetic. Apparently this bitter melon tea helped the lady lowering her blood sugar level tremendously in one week. Honestly, we thought the lady must have adjusted her diet too, but since AuntA wanted us to give it a try...hey, why not? After all, it doesn't cost much and it's not really gonna hurt us.
Buddha Boy and I thought the Gohyah Tea (苦瓜茶) tasted like...like...extremely diluted roasted coffee. No, it's not bitter, but it did had a very minimal bitter-like aroma that lingered in the throat. The tea was not bad at all, in fact, we have replaced our daily Chinese tea to this stuff...hahaha! Yup, that's the reason why we ended up at Rice World (中國糧油世界米行) in Chinatown to pick up some more...well...twenty packs more...LOL! Well, we go through approximately a pack every two to three weeks, so these should last us for a long time...hehehehe!
