Costco (Marysville WA) on Urbanspoon
Our food trek wasn't over.  Less than an hour after DTF, we stopped off at Costco for supplies and, of course, more food.
Marv & I shared a Carne Asada.  Filled mainly with beef, cheese, tomatoes and onions, I thought this was going to be quite doughy, but it wasn't.  With chunky pieces of meat and a light dough, this tasted pretty good.  I'd eat this again.
The ladies had Frozen Yogurt...I guess I haven't had ice cream in a while because I thought this was pretty good.
And what goes well with Costco frozen yogurt?  A Churro, of course.  It was on a whim, but it works, try it!  The churro wasn't too sweet either, it's dusted with a touch of sugar and cinnamon.
Well, our eats on the south side of the border pretty much ended here.  I still got a long list of places to visit, but I'll have to wait until next time.

  1. Costco in the US (and some parts in the world, for example, Panama) have churros; but the ones here have poutine. Likewise, ours have Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich. In the end, is that a fair comparison? :)

we've even eaten at the Costco in Taiwan, and it is very different, but other than all pork hot dogs and pizza, I don't remember what else they had.

  10. If you love yourself, avoid the lemon gelato. It does NOT have a refreshing taste; rather some weird unnatural "lemon" taste. Stick with the nuts/vanilla/chocolate options. Heck, just get the soft serve!

  11. Yeah, I tried it on the weekend... it was disappointing. It really felt more like ice cream than anything. The lemon one tasted really good first few bites, but that might be because it was better than the others.

Going for the soft serve next time!!! :D
