2011-06-29 Quick Visit @ Top Pot Doughnuts

Top Pot Doughnuts (Belltown) on Urbanspoon
Continuing with more food, Colleen mentioned Top Pot Doughnuts, with this location only minutes from Pike Place Market, it was a definite stop we'd have to make.
Originally, we thought Colleen wanted only a couple to try, but she shocked us with two dozens of assorted donuts.  Buddha Girl and I only shared the Raspberry Glazed Cake Doughnut.  From that one doughnut, we'd definitely be back to try more...it was that good.
The raspberry glaze wasn't overly sweet.  The cake doughnut was, surprisingly, not too heavy or dry.  Our next U.S.A. food trip means more Top Pot Doughnuts and perhaps a trip to Frost Doughnuts as well.

  2. If you were willing to drive a bit farther south (a short distance in US standards), you might have consider driving to Bakery Nouveau. If you go before 3:00 p.m., they still have some really good baked goodies. Afterwards... Well, as in most bakeries, by then, their displays are empty.

  5. BB, BG, from Pike's Place, 15 to 25 minutes (depending on traffic). Actually, you could get there without hitting I5, if you know your way to get to Alaskan Way to West Seattle Bridge.
