My brother, Worm, will be away to attend a wedding on Dad's birthday, so we got together early for a quick dinner. Since both Worm and Buddha Boy work downtown, Dad opted for Shabusen. I've visited both of their locations before (Granville location is now closed) and their food was, well, AYCE quality (or below that). The only beauty was we're able to have Korean BBQ & Japanese food at the same time.
Due to the factory-style food delivery (just like most AYCE places), I wasn't able to snap pictures of everything. Selections were pretty common and straight forward...nothing special. We were quite surprised with their service, which was quite pleasant. Other than that, the visit was not too memorable.
