Yup! The cheap Buddha Girl kicked in the stingy gear and bought another deal on The Red Pocket. This time, for a Taiwanese restaurant in Burnaby.
Shrek-green. The restaurant is small but seating is spacious. Service was friendly, but not very attentive.
刈包). Small slice of bland and overcooked (chewy) pork with very limited sour vegetable, cilantro and candied peanut powder tucked in a doughy microwave-reheated bun...not a pleasant package. When the server asked us how the gua-bao was, we voiced our concerns...and surprisingly, she admitted that the bun was microwaved...well, at least she was honest about it.
