Another trip down south? Yup, this time, to pick up some stuff for MomM. You know, vitamins and glucosamine stuff...people in Taiwan chug them like water.
After some quick shopping, Buddha Boy took me to a
Chinese-run buffet in Burlington...Chinese from China, of course.
Unfortunately, they don't allow pictures at the buffet circle, but I did
manage to snap some pictures before the owner/manager came up to
me...wahahahahaha!
Not going to go into details about the food selections since it's just another one of those China-run buffets. But one thing we've noticed...most of the dishes were mostly chicken, then dishes with some kind of cheap quality shrimp, next was limited choices of pork, and finally, only one selection of beef...yes, ONE...and it was a chunk of dry and overcooked roast beef...very sad-looking...
The wings were huge!!! Wings on steroids??? I ended up leaving the wing...it was quite a turn off when I saw a feather on my wing...not pleased...hahaha! Honestly, the overall experience was not too bad. In our book, we enjoyed this better than Super Buffet in Bellingham, but we still prefer Wonderful Buffet in Marysville.
Just thought I would share this...yes, I know...I'm a sucker...AGAIN! But...but...noticed the boxes said "Reduced Sugar" and "Whole Wheat"? I bought these for Buddha Boy...(but he paid)...hahahaha!
Just like Super Buffet in Bellingham, they have a grilling station. I still prefer the gimmick of having that round Mongolian-style grill at Wonderful Buffet in Marysville.
I only managed to snap pictures of mostly cold stations, including desserts. I was then acknowledged, "no pictures please"...well, at least she said "please"...wahahahahah!
