Artigiano, an Italian eatery food cart stationed near the famous Pok Pok in Portland, was our next destination before heading to our hotel. Yes, this was another featured cart on Food Network's Eat St.
Since we have already done our homework, we pretty much knew what we wanted. First was the Braised Pork Shoulder, served with farro and house-fried tomatoes.
The Pork Sandwich (top) had shredded pork, caramelized onions and aioli. The Fettuccine w/Pork & Tomato Ragu topped w/Crispy Pork (bottom) was the reason why we're here. The pasta was made in-house and it was amazingly delicate.
If you noticed, we did not talk much about the food. Because we visited this cart right after Lardo, plus it was down-pouring, we ended up ordering take-outs and brought it to the hotel. We didn't touch the food until few hours later, so it's quite inappropriate for us to judge. We do plan to visit again to complete the experience.
As much as we ate the food many hours later...it was pretty good.
