Chick-fil-A (Bellevue WA)

I've always wanted to try Chick-fil-A.  So, hungry or not, I actually planned a snack.

Since this was only a "snack" and our planned dinner was only a couple of hours away, I ordered items that weren't burgers or anything too heavy: tenders, nuggets, fries.

The Chicken Tenders were moist but were not crispy.  Considering this joint specializes in chicken, these didn't quite live up to par.

The Grilled Chicken Nuggets looked better than they tasted.  The pack of twelve pieces was a really small order.  These looked like cut up chunks of grilled chicken breast and tossed in a very salty seasoning mix.  Although the menu stated "grilled", these lacked the taste of the grill.  The moistness was reminiscent of tossing the chicken in a brine than cooked in a steamer.  These grilled nuggets would be good on a salad, or even on a bowl of rice, but on its own, it's a fail.

The Waffle Fries were cooked just until they were hot but not crispy.  Not sure about you, but I thought fries should be hot AND crispy.  This was quite disappointing.

Overall, the food here was just mediocre.  Since these were only snacks for us, we would probably be back to try their burgers.  Execution definitely needs improvement.
